Appendix B - Accent Patterns

e available list of accent patterns varies upon the Beats Per Measure parameter of the Meter setting.

Accent Patterns will always be notated as a combination of 2 and 3 counts that add up to the Beats Per

Measure parameter of the selected meter. e last accent pattern in each list is shown as - - - - - - and

signies no Accent Pattern AND no accented downbeat.

Note: Holding the Shi Button and pressing Accent Pattern will toggle between “Normal” and

“Accents Only” modes. In “Accents Only” mode, the dashes between the numbers will disappear,

signifying that the unaccented beats will not be heard.
